Am I eligible?Your starting cost is $179. Where you go from there is a clinical decision.
Every member begins with the Foundation. Your clinician then recommends your starting tier based on what your labs actually show. Many members never need anything beyond Foundation. Some do. Your protocol is designed around your biology, not a pre-selected bundle.

What Makes GoodLife Health Different.
Telehealth has split into three traps: legacy platforms that mark branded medication up to $1,899 a month, compounding-only services selling copies under FDA scrutiny, and concierge clinics that bill by the year. GoodLife Health is the only one that combines medical weight loss, hormone optimization, and ongoing primary care under a single licensed clinician — with transparent, direct-to-pharmacy billing and no markup.

What you'll actually pay, in plain language.
- Your $179 per month covers unlimited clinician time, the AI-native patient portal, monthly clinician check-ins, your nutrition and lifestyle protocol, and 24/7 secure messaging with the clinical team. Your clinician orders the labs your protocol needs and reads them carefully — you run them through your insurance or pay direct to Quest, LabCorp, or Ash Wellness at DPC cash rates. If those labs reveal a hormonal or metabolic issue, your clinician may recommend a higher pathway. That is a separate clinical decision, never an automatic add-on.
- Because they involve more clinical work — a designed protocol, additional monitoring, dose titration, and more frequent re-evaluation. The higher tier covers that clinical management. The medication itself is billed direct: FDA-approved hormone therapy by a licensed pharmacy, and branded GLP-1 by LillyDirect, NovoCare, or your insurance. GoodLife Health takes no pharmacy margin — the difference between tiers reflects real clinical work, not an arbitrary upsell.
- No hidden fees. Messaging and clinician check-ins are unlimited and covered by your membership. What is billed separately, transparently, at each line: labs (ordered by your clinician, run through your insurance or paid direct to Quest, LabCorp, or Ash Wellness at DPC cash rates, typically $40–$200 per panel); FDA-approved hormone therapy when clinically indicated (shipped and billed by a licensed pharmacy, approximately $40–$80/month); and GLP-1 when clinically appropriate (paid direct to LillyDirect, NovoCare, or insurance). GoodLife Health takes no markup on any of it.
- Foundation Direct Primary Care: $179 clinical fee plus labs billed direct ($40–$200 cash-pay per panel, or insurance-covered). Hormone Optimization: $299 clinical fee plus approximately $40–$80 pharmacy-billed hormone therapy, for an all-in true monthly cost of approximately $339–$379. Medical Weight Loss with insurance-covered GLP-1 and approved prior authorization: $399 clinical fee plus approximately $25 copay = $424 all-in. Medical Weight Loss with cash-pay branded GLP-1 via LillyDirect or NovoCare: $399 clinical fee plus $149–$449 medication = $548–$848 all-in. Medicare GLP-1 Bridge from July 2026 for qualifying obesity: $399 + $50 = $449 all-in.
- The Foundation tier has a 3-month minimum to start, so the first charge is three months billed together ($179 × 3 = $537). After the minimum, billing reverts to $179/month month-to-month with no contract. The minimum exists because the diagnostic and protocol-design work front-loads in the first three months; the structure ensures members have enough runway to actually see results from the clinical relationship before deciding whether to continue. Your first month is fully refundable if GoodLife Health is not the right fit.
- No, intentionally. Insurance is the reason your previous primary care clinician had eight minutes for you. Direct Primary Care means you pay the clinician directly, the clinician works for you, and the relationship is the product. Many members pay the membership with HSA or FSA dollars. Labs, hormone therapy, and GLP-1 medications can be billed to insurance directly by the lab or pharmacy.
- Direct Primary Care memberships are generally eligible for HSA or FSA pre-tax dollars. Confirm with your administrator for your specific plan. If your marginal tax bracket is 24%, the effective post-tax cost of a $179 membership paid with pre-tax dollars is approximately $136.
- Yes to both. Membership is month-to-month with no contract after the 3-month minimum on the Foundation tier. Within your first 30 days, if GoodLife Health is not the right fit, your first month is fully refundable. After that, you can cancel at any time and you simply stop being billed at the next billing cycle.
- No. Tier 2 covers comprehensive GLP-1 clinical management at $399/month regardless of which medication your clinician determines is right for your biology — Wegovy (semaglutide) or Zepbound (tirzepatide). Other platforms upcharge by hundreds of dollars for tirzepatide. GoodLife Health does not, because charging more for a different molecule penalizes biology. The clinical work is identical for both.
- No — and that is deliberate. Your tier covers the clinical work: protocol design, e-prescribing, monitoring. FDA-approved hormone therapy is shipped and billed direct by a licensed pharmacy ($40–$80/month). Branded GLP-1 is paid direct to LillyDirect, NovoCare, or insurance, with pricing shown in your portal. GoodLife Health takes no pharmacy margin and does not sell compounded GLP-1.
- Upgrades happen through clinical conversation, not a checkout button. Your clinician will recommend a pathway change when your labs and goals call for it. Pricing changes at the next billing cycle. Downgrades are simple — message your clinical team and adjust at the next billing cycle. The same named clinician carries through.
- GoodLife Health serves all 50 U.S. states. Our clinicians practice independently in Arizona and California. In other states, we partner with collaborating physicians who follow the same protocols and the same pricing. The eligibility check confirms availability where you live.
- Your monthly clinical fee is fixed at the tier you are on. Medication costs are billed by third parties (the pharmacy, manufacturer, or insurance) and can vary with their pricing, your insurance coverage, and pathway selection. The clinical fee does not change month-to-month within a tier. If GoodLife Health's pricing changes platform-wide in the future, existing members receive advance notice through the patient portal.
- Transparency. GoodLife Health is organized as a professional corporation (PC) that delivers all medical care, owned by Kristin Makinajyan, DNP, FNP-BC, plus a separate management services organization (MSO) — GoodLife Health Management Inc — that provides technology and administration under a fair-market-value Management Services Agreement. The structure is published in full at goodlifehealth.ai/legal/corporate-structure for member, partner, banking, payment processor, and regulator diligence. It is the standard architecture used by reputable healthcare technology platforms to comply with state Corporate Practice of Medicine doctrines.
- GLP-1 telehealth has split into traps: legacy platforms (Hims, Ro) mark branded medication up to $1,899/month; LifeMD and Calibrate stack multi-layered fees; Henry Meds sells compounded-only GLP-1 under FDA scrutiny; MDVIP is traditional in-person concierge that bills $1,800–$5,000/year and rarely prescribes GLP-1. GoodLife Health is the only platform that combines Direct Primary Care, Hormone Optimization, and Medical Weight Loss under a single named licensed clinician at $179–$399/month — with branded medication billed direct by the manufacturer or insurance and no GoodLife Health markup. With insurance and prior authorization approved, the true monthly cost is approximately $424.
The relationship is the medicine
"I finally feel like I have a real doctor again."
After years of having a PCP who was attentive and truly knew me, he retired. Since moving to Tucson I've struggled — every time I establish a relationship with a PCP, they change offices. And when I do get seen, I feel more like something on a conveyor belt than a patient. What a relief to find Dr. K and her team. They actually get to know you. They are attentive, thorough, and genuinely care. I finally feel like I have a real doctor again. Thank you!
"Dr. K really listened to my concerns."
I just had my appointment last week, and it was the most wonderful experience. Dr. K was amazing, she really listened to my concerns and gave me the knowledge I needed and was so caring. So happy I found an amazing provider. The staff was so awesome! Shout out to Kelly and Alvia for being kind and amazing! You guys rock!
"The best of the best doctor."
I needed a new PC physician. Her practice welcomed me in immediately. They ordered a complete blood work up before the visit, something my previous physician failed to do for years.
Then I met NP Kristin Makinajyan! Oh my gosh!! She listened, I mean really listened to me as the physical began. She addressed every one of my concerns and added a few from the results of the blood tests.
She went through my lengthy list of medications and tweaked them, schooled me, and left me feeling as though I had seen the best of the best doctor.
I feel so relieved and comfortable having visited NP Makinajyan and her team. Every one I met made me confident that my health was their number one professional goal!!
"Kristin helped me get my life back."
Kristin helped me greatly get my life back on track and control of my weight loss journey.
