If you are clinically eligible, you will be invited to schedule a video intake with Kristin Makinajyan, your Medical Director, within the same week. She reviews your questionnaire and orders the labs your protocol needs — run through your insurance or paid direct to Quest, LabCorp, or Ash Wellness at DPC cash rates.
Get your clinical recommendation
Your labs come back within a week. Kristin reviews them carefully and explains exactly what she sees. From there, you receive a personalized protocol that may include hormone optimization, GLP-1, or both, based on what your biology actually shows.
Start your treatment
When your clinician prescribes, the prescription routes direct to the pharmacy — a licensed pharmacy for your hormone therapy, or LillyDirect, NovoCare, or your insurance for branded GLP-1. The pharmacy ships to your door and bills you directly. GoodLife never touches medication or takes pharmacy margin. Your clinical team is one tap away if anything comes up.

You pay GoodLife Health for clinical care — the clinician, the protocol, the platform. Your labs and medications flow direct to you from the lab and the pharmacy at their own rates. We never resell them or take a margin. That's the transparent model: you always know exactly what you're paying for, and to whom.

- Approximately 4 to 5 minutes. The questionnaire screens for clinical safety and fit before any payment. If you are not clinically eligible, you are not charged.
- Kristin Makinajyan, DNP, FNP-BC — the GoodLife Health Medical Director — runs the intake video consult for new members. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years in patient care. She reviews your questionnaire, learns your history and goals in an unhurried 30-minute conversation, and orders the labs your protocol needs.
- Same-week. After completing the questionnaire and activating your membership, you are invited to schedule a video intake with Kristin within the same week.
- Your clinician orders the labs your protocol needs. You run them through your insurance, or pay the lab directly at DPC cash rates. Quest, LabCorp, or Ash Wellness handle the billing. Typical cash-pay range is $40–$200 per panel. GoodLife Health does not bill you for labs and takes no markup. You receive the lab bill from the lab company directly.
- When your clinician prescribes, the prescription is e-sent direct to the pharmacy. The pharmacy fills the prescription, ships it to your door, and bills you directly. FDA-approved hormone therapy ships from a licensed pharmacy at approximately $40–$80/month. Branded GLP-1 ships from LillyDirect (Zepbound), NovoCare Direct (Wegovy), or through your insurance with AI-powered prior authorization. GoodLife Health never touches the medication and takes no pharmacy margin.
- Your clinician explains exactly what she sees in the labs and recommends a personalized protocol. The recommendation may include hormone optimization, GLP-1 medical weight loss, or both — based on what your biology actually shows. Upgrading to Tier 1 or Tier 2 happens at your decision; nothing is automatic. The same named clinician carries through to the new tier.
- Labs typically return within one week of the draw. After Kristin reviews them and prescribes, the prescription routes electronically to the pharmacy immediately. Hormone therapy ships from the licensed pharmacy on the standard pharmacy timeline. Branded GLP-1 through LillyDirect or NovoCare typically ships within days. Insurance-routed GLP-1 prescriptions go through AI-powered prior authorization that auto-processes approximately 85% of cases in 7–10 minutes.
- Monthly clinician check-ins, quarterly clinical re-evaluations with updated labs, e-prescribing direct to your pharmacy, and 24/7 secure chat with the clinical team. Your protocol evolves with you as your labs change, your goals change, and your life changes. The same clinical team carries through every month and every year.
- Yes. Your first month is fully refundable if GoodLife Health is not the right fit. After the first month, membership continues month-to-month with no contract — cancel at any time and your card stops being charged at the next billing cycle.
- If your labs and clinical evaluation reveal a contraindication to GLP-1 — such as personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, MEN2, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or severe renal impairment (eGFR < 45) — your clinician will recommend an alternative pathway. Members who do not qualify for GLP-1 are offered alternative medications and a clinically guided weight loss protocol tailored to their picture. Nobody is sent away.
- No. GoodLife Health is not a pharmacy and not a compounding facility. It does not manufacture, compound, dispense, ship, or take title to any medication. All prescriptions route to independent licensed third-party pharmacies — the manufacturer's direct-to-patient channel for branded GLP-1, or a licensed retail or specialty pharmacy for FDA-approved hormone therapy. The medication relationship is between you, the prescribing clinician, and the pharmacy.
- GoodLife Health serves all 50 U.S. states. Our clinicians practice independently in Arizona and California, with the remaining states served through collaborating physician partnerships. The eligibility check at the start of the questionnaire confirms availability in your state.
